Character creation rules:
All characters start off the campaign as Greenhorn/Recruit level characters.
Characters therefore start with 42 Attribute points, 62 Skill points and no Trait points.
However, all characters must meet the following minimum starting skills qualification for the campaign as well (accounting for 24 Skill points), reflecting their qualification as ranch hands.

Wealth and starting gear:
Characters start with the standard 750 credits starting wealth (unless they've adopted traits that affect this).
Each character must begin with a firearm of some kind (not necessarily a sidearm) with a least two full loads of ammo and all of the following gear. This represents their first couple of paydays as well as gear provided to them by the ranch as part of their employment.
37.9 credits - Comm-pack (short range)
8 credits - Microtransmitters
0.6 credits - First Aid Kit
8 credits - Binoculars (Newtech, thermal and low-light)
3 credits - Bio-Canteen
8 credits - Survival Kit
They must also field a toolkit for whichever elective skill they've chosen.
14.4 credits - Basic Toolkit (Mechanical or Technical Engineering)
22.8 credits - Data-library, standard (Science Expertise)
27.4 credits - Doctor's bag (Medical Expertise) -OR-
30 credits - Frontier Horse-doctor's bag (Medical Expertise)
